September 2026

• Students and faculty members presented their research at the Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Science Education.

• A researcher from the National Taiwan Science Education Center (NTSEC), Taiwan, visited the Takebayashi Laboratory.

August 2026

• Conducted geological and environmental education field research in the Adelaide region and on Kangaroo Island, Australia.

• Participated in GeoSciEd X 2026 at the University of Adelaide, Australia, and presented research.

June 2026

• Cooperated with the “Science Koshien” program organized by Yamagata Prefecture.

• Contributed to activities conducted by the STEAM Education Research Laboratory.

May 2026

• Conducted an Earth Science Workshop at the request of the Natural Science Club of an SSH-designated high school in Fukushima Prefecture.

April 2026

• Began research activities at the Yamagata University Museum.

 

2025

March 2025

• One master's student graduated from the our Laboratory and began a career as a junior high school teacher.

December 2025

• Conducted a satellite-linked educational program connecting Shizuoka and the Tohoku region using the scientific research vessel Chikyu.

October 2025

• Conducted a field visit to geoparks in Niigata Prefecture as part of Takebayashi Laboratory activities.

August 2025

• Conducted an Earth Science Workshop for children at “Kawanabi,” the Shizuoka Flood Control and Disaster Prevention Center.

• Faculty members and students of the Takebayashi Laboratory conducted research and fieldwork during the summer break.

• Miura and Takebayashi conducted geological and marine science field research in the Mt. Chokai–Tobishima Geopark.

• The Takebayashi Laboratory participated in the Yamagata University Open Campus 2025.

• The Takebayashi Laboratory website was launched.
